There are currently hundreds of different sports played all over the world. While some are few centuries old, most of them being developed in the last century. Most sports involving a ball were created 18th and 19th centuries and the first sport of the modern civilization could easily be considered to be cricket. The cricket appeared around 1788 in the United Kingdom and thanks to the British colonies spread around the world, this sport became very popular worldwide. (more…)

Clean energy advantages
The clean energy, also known as renewable, is the energy that comes from different natural resources like wind, sunlight, rain, tides and even geothermal heat. These natural resources are not consumed in the process of generating energy and the nature recreates them continuously. The fossil fuels currently used for generating energy pollute the environment and they can be found only in limited quantities. This is why the use of clean energy becomes a necessity rather than a temporary trend. (more…)

The terrorism, more dangerous than ever
There is no universal definition for terrorism but most consider it to be violent acts against civilians committed by nongovernmental agencies in order to create constant fear and terror, for political, religious or ideological purpose.
The first actions ever recorded as a type of terrorism go back to the 1795 France, during the Reign of Terror. The French government systematically used terror as a policy to intimidate the population. Since then the terrorism spread all over the world, today being a part of everyday life. (more…)

All about allergies
Allergies represent a disorder of the immune system that manifest itself as a hypersensitivity to numerous substances called allergens. According to the most recent studies, allergies affect about 50 million Americans. The most common reactions for allergies include hay fever, sneezing, asthma attacks, vomiting, eczema, hives and different reactions to the insects’ sting (most commonly wasps and bees). The symptoms can be categorized into mild and severe, indicating the intensity of the allergic response. (more…)

The financial crisis that shook the whole world in the past three years has also made its mark on the Hollywood financial results. While many artists saw their revenues diminished, others had a good period cashing tens of millions for a single movie.
