The humans are the most advanced animals that populate this planet. The high level of evolution made us the rulers in the nature’s world. Unfortunately during our evolution we affected the natural habitat of others species and, in some cases, we even contributed to their extinction.

Austria, best skiing destination whole year

Located in the Alps, the highest mountain area in Europe, Austria is appreciated mostly for the skiing resorts that can be found all over the country.

The largest mountains in Austria are Grossglockner  with 3,797 m, from the Hohe Tauern range, Wildspitze with 3,768m and Weisskugel with 3,739m, both from the Oetztal Alps range. Soelden, Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Ischgl, Sankt Anton am Arlberg, and Obertauern are the most important wintersports resorts in the Austrian Alps. (more…)

Everyone knows that some athletes earn millions of dollars each year of activity. Looking at the top ten sports contracts its’ obvious that the most remunerative sports are baseball and auto racing.

Solar radiations, the danger from space

One of the most dangerous things that surround us continuously is represented by the solar radiations. The solar radiations are created by the sun’s energy that is created in its core. In the huge pressure form the core of the sun forces hydrogen atoms to fuse into helium by nuclear fusion. It’s estimated that the temperatures at the core are approximately 15 million degrees Kelvin which represent 15 million degrees Celsius or 27 million degrees Fahrenheit. (more…)

NATO missile defense

The North Atlantic Treaty signed on 4 April 1949 created the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) also called the Atlantic Alliance. Currently, the Alliance consists in 28 member states. At first the main purpose of this alliance was strictly political, but after the Korean War, in 1950s, the Atlantic Alliance was organized also as a military structure ready to protect any member state from an external military attack.
