Austria, best skiing destination whole year

Located in the Alps, the highest mountain area in Europe, Austria is appreciated mostly for the skiing resorts that can be found all over the country.

The largest mountains in Austria are Grossglockner  with 3,797 m, from the Hohe Tauern range, Wildspitze with 3,768m and Weisskugel with 3,739m, both from the Oetztal Alps range. Soelden, Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Ischgl, Sankt Anton am Arlberg, and Obertauern are the most important wintersports resorts in the Austrian Alps. (more…)
