On May 1st, the president of the United States made a historical announcement regarding the death of the most wanted terrorist worldwide. US president Barack Obama announced in a live TV conference that Osama bin Laden was killed during a raid conducted by US forces in Abbottabad, Pakistan. There were no images with the body of bin Laden made public and the authorities say that Osama bin Laden was buried into the sea in less than 24 hours after his death. (more…)

When Barack Obama was invested as the 44th United States president in January 2009, many thought he is the second youngest president in the entire United States history. Well they were wrong, but not by far.
Obama was 47 years and 169 days the day he became president, and despite his young age, he is the fifth youngest president of United States.
The youngest U.S. president was Theodore Roosevelt, born in 1858 and invested as president in September 1901. He was only 42 years and 322 days old at that point and served in office eight years, until March 1909. (more…)
The stories of Russian and American spies during the Cold War were good novel and movie scenarios for a long period of time. In the past ten years no one paid attention to these stories any more, because nobody believed that these powerful countries continued their spying activities.
